Privacy Policy

Toedly is a private family schedule service. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@ournook.io.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address.

Family details you enter. You may add your children's first names or nicknames and the names of family members so schedules can be organized around them.

Emails you choose to forward. Each family gets a private Toedly email address. The only email we ever receive is mail you (or forwarding rules you set up yourself) deliberately send to that address — typically school and activity mail.

Calendar data. If you connect Google Calendar, we access the calendars you choose so we can sync events to them.

How we use it

We use your information solely to provide the service: extracting events, to-dos, and plain-language summaries from the mail you forward (processed with the Claude model via Anthropic's API), showing those items to your family, and syncing events to the calendars you pick. We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it — to anyone, for any reason.

Google user data

Toedly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We request only Google Calendar access. We never read your Gmail — mail reaches Toedly only because you set up forwarding in your own mail settings. Google user data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models. It is handled by subprocessors only as needed to run the service.

Storage and subprocessors

We rely on a small set of service providers to run Toedly: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (email routing), and Anthropic (AI processing of forwarded email content). Data is encrypted in transit, and Google Calendar tokens are encrypted at rest.

Children

Toedly is a service for adults. Parents may enter their children's first names to organize the family schedule, but we collect nothing from children directly, and children do not use the service.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your family account is active. To delete your family and all of its data, email support@ournook.io. You can also revoke Toedly's calendar access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops calendar sync immediately.

Who can see your data

Your family's data is visible only to your family's members. This is enforced at the database level with row-level security, not just in the app.

Changes and contact
